Pastor William (Bill) Hendricks joined our church on January 27, 1982 along with his wife, Sandi Hendricks and two children. Pastor Hendricks is a champion of the Lord Jesus and the Word of God and has been a faithful Shepard to lead the Lord’s flock here at the First Baptist Church for over 36 years. In I Timothy 3:1-7 we find the requirements of a pastor, without a doubt Pastor Hendricks meets all the requirements the Lord has set. Pastor Hendricks is “blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach”. You can easily see he loves his wife, children, grandchildren and his church family, he takes the time to get to know each and everyone personally and his door is always open. He ruled his house well; now both of his children are adults, serving the Lord in church with their spouses and teaching and raising their children in the Lord. The Lord has blessed us at the First Baptist Church with a faithful man of God, who is willing to study, teach and bring us the lessons the Lord has for us week after week.
