It is a free gift :
" The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord ."
It is not by our labor or work:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God : Not of works, least any man should boast."
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according
to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy Ghost." Titus 3:5
Salvation is for all:
"There is none righteous, no, not one:" " For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God."
"All we like sheep have gone astray ; we have turned
every one to his own way ; and the Lord hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:6
Jesus Christ paid our sin debt:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"For he hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin ; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."
II Corinthians 5:21
Only Jesus Christ can save:
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
Salvation is simple:
"And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved ? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou's shalt be saved, and thy house." Acts16:30,31
Eternity in hell awaits those who have not been saved: "For God so loved he world, that he gave his only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in him should not PERISH, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:11-15
There will be readers who will be offended by these verses, and will accuse us of hate speech or false interpretation. Let us with love suggest that you hear the Word of God and trust Jesus Christ as your Savior. Jesus said, " If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear." Mark 7:16
It is also recorded in II Peter 3:9 that; "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Would you trust the Lord Jesus Christ today as your Savior?
